Located inside Jack’s, Steamers is
where it all started. From humble beginnings to where we are now, the goal remains the same. Jack’s and Steamers continues to prove it’s possible to run an enterprising
business which is sustainable and successful while employing individuals with developmental disabilities.
Jack’s and Steamers has expanded to include A Different Kind of Jam, our own line of gourmet specialty jams, jellies and pie fillings. All products are small batch hand made in our prep kitchen using only the freshest natural ingredients.
In 2014, Jack’s, Steamers and A Different Kind of Jam opened our new prep kitchen. The prep kitchen serves as a training site for our developmentally disabled employees, manufacturing facility for our jams and jellies, bakery for our fresh baked goods & pies and kitchen for all our made from scratch restaurant selections.
